Hello, My name is Harry Culpin and I am the Chairman of the YDA, thank you for taking time to visit our web site. Committee members required: as you know the DA cannot run without its committee and as such can I invite you to consider putting your self forward at the next AGM, please ring 01904 479844 with any questions or doubts you may have in helping to make your DA the success that it is, Yorkshire DA run meets on most weekends from February to November. These meets provide a cheap & basic form of camping (your own sanitation is usually essential as a point for drinking water & a waste disposal site are the only facilities on most sites!) At some of our meets you will find entertainment and social gatherings organised, suppers, communal barbeques & fun events for all the family. Other meets will be simple, quiet rallies held in places not usually open to camping. All of these meets are only open to Camping & Caravanning Club Members. All weekend meets are run by voluntary stewards, without whom the meets could not take place. If can assist us with this vital role please contact ( Sites Officer on 07968 756573 or e-mail me at regwoodrow@hotmail.com ) In addition to the weekend meets Yorkshire DA run two holiday sites. These again provide excellent value for money but are run for longer periods of time and are in locations ideal for holidays. The meets open at 2pm the first day are again run by voluntary stewards. These meets are open to club members; however, guests may camp providing this is within a members own unit (an additional guest fee will be charged). You can expect a warm friendly welcome at any of out sites - if you are a first time camper, please let the stewards know and they will offer help & assistance if required.
