The Camping and
Caravanning Club Youth or the CCY as it is also known is available to all
people aged between 12 - 17 years. If the Camping & Caravanning Club Youth
Test is completed the youth can continue to camp with the youth until the age
of 21. The CCY is run by duly appointed Youth Leaders and aims to provide
positive camping opportunities, experiences and practical knowledge to young
people in a structured, safe and fun environment.
There are Regional, National & International Youth rallies that can be attended by any youth member, (you need to have passed the Youth Test to attend the International) and these Rallies are all geared up for the interests of the young camper. From the age of 12, at certain meets such as the Region & National, the youth can pitch their tent in the CCY Youth Area, under the leadership of Youth Leaders.
